OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

Sketch a line with the given features. A y-intercept of (0, 5) and slope -7/2

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

its like this

OpenStudy (mazmaz1):

first point is (0,5) second point to enter (2,-2)

OpenStudy (mazmaz1):

thats the answer.because the slope is the amount rise over the amount horizontal

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

sweet, thanks i have one that wants me to graph an equation but i tried the equation calc online and it wasn't working right, can you help? equation is r(x) = 6

OpenStudy (3mar):

Try that pic. I think it will help.

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

type, plot y= 6 on google that will b ur answer

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

what is point one and point two

OpenStudy (mathmale):

You could choose any two points that lie on this line and call either one of them Point One. Obviously the other would be Point Two. But you don't need to worry about that in this problem. You are given the y-intercept and slope. Plot the y-intercept. It's a point on the y-axis. The slope is -7/2. Starting from the y-intercept, move 2 units to the right and 7 units down. That comes directly from the slope, -7/2. Plot a dot right there. Then draw a straight line connecting your two dots. Voila! Done.
