OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

what is the general concept behind continuity?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

That a curve has no breaks or holes or any issues like that. If you can draw the function without taking pencil off paper, it's continuous. The function must be defined for all real numbers in a given domain, as opposed to a discrete function, which can be defined for say, only whole numbers. Not sure exactly what you want.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

oh

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I was wondering more about the rules/theorems actually.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

What about them? Specificity helps.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Errrr... I haven't read too much into that section, so idk

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Then idk what to help you with :P

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Well, what theorems apply to continuity? ig that

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Google will be a lot more helpful with general questions like that. See here http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcI/Continuity.aspx

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Welp. I didn't know those existed lol. Thanks ^_^
