do you know pi?

OpenStudy (cicilybailey14):

Yes. this is due in 8 minutes XD

OpenStudy (cicilybailey14):

I know its not 8 hours 30 minutes

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

You need to do two subtractions. 11:30 - 6:45 3:15 - 12:30

OpenStudy (cicilybailey14):

okay

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Start at 6:45. till 7:45 it's 1 hour till 8:45 it's 2 hours till 9:45 it's 3 hours till 10:45 it's 4 hours now you only go to 11:30 10:45 to 11:30 is 45 minutes So far you have a total of 4:45

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Now do the same to the afternoon shift

OpenStudy (cicilybailey14):

okay

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

12:30 to 1:30 --> 1 hour 1:30 to 2:30 ---> 2 hours 2:30 to 3:15 ---> 45 minutes 12:30 to 3:15 is 2:45 Now you add 4:45 + 2:45 4 + 2 = 6 45 minute + 45 minutes = 90 minutes = 1:30 6:00 + 1:30 = 7:30

OpenStudy (cicilybailey14):

Thanks you so much!!!

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

You're welcome.
