How was the Estates-General useful in uniting France under one national identity? It allowed members from different social classes to enforce taxation laws and challenge election results. It allowed noblemen, clergy, and townspeople to serve together as a legislative body in the French government. It gave equal voting rights to all social classes in France, including the noblemen, the clergy, and townspeople. It provided a way to deny privileges for the wealthier groups of people, resulting in a more unified nation.

It provided a way to deny privileges for the wealthier groups of people, resulting in a more unified nation.
