OpenStudy (megan7):

not sure how we get 33 at the bottom

OpenStudy (3mar):

What is your question?

OpenStudy (megan7):

how did they come up with the 33 under 3y=6?

OpenStudy (3mar):

It should be 13 not 33

OpenStudy (3mar):

Try with me

OpenStudy (3mar):

x-2y=9 x-5y=3 ------- 3y=6 y=2 substitute with y into any equation: x-2*2=9>>x=13 x-5*2=3>>x=13 Done!

OpenStudy (megan7):

oh thank you!! I have notes on this but they had 33 under it but if its 13 I still don't understand how to come up with 13 under it? I understand everything else very good

OpenStudy (3mar):

Where are you stuck?

OpenStudy (3mar):

Thanks for the medal and fan!

OpenStudy (megan7):

OpenStudy (3mar):
