I'm a bit late but I hope I can still help... So this is what we know: Sugar is 3/5 of flour; Flour is 5/5 of flour. Butter is 5/6 of sugar; Sugar is 6/6 of sugar. Let's find a number that is divisible by both denominators, 30. So now, the ratio of sugar to flour using the number 30 is: Sugar 18 (3/5 of 30). Flour 30 (5/5 of 30). Now if Sugar is 18, then butter is 5/6 of 18, or 15. So we have; Sugar 18, Flour 30, Butter 15. The ratio for sugar:flour:total is 18:30:63 or 6:10:21.
