OpenStudy (jackthegreatest):

Ok how would I derive x^2(x-2)^4

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Looks as tho you have a PRODUCT here: (x^2)*(x-2)^4. Use the Product Rule.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

At least, that'd be my approach, b ased upon your post. Note how I used ' * " to denote exponentiation and to reduce the ambiguity.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Is it \(\Large f(x) =x^2 (x-2)^4\) ? If so just use the product rule, it's not too hard.
