OpenStudy (galasca):

V=4/3πR Radius = 2cm Looking for the mass, it's been a while since I've done this. Question says π=3

OpenStudy (phi):

the formula for the volume of a sphere is \[ V = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3 \] is that what you mean ? mass would be volume times the density of the material, so we need to know the density and pi is 3.14159.... (it goes on forever, how many digits to use depends on how accurate you have to be)

OpenStudy (galasca):

A'ight, I figured it out, thanks for the help, it wouldn't let me copy and paste the question for some reason.

OpenStudy (galasca):

I was aware of pi being 3.14159... but the question said that pi was only 3, odd.
