OpenStudy (hperez777):

Write the word feel as a past participle.

OpenStudy (adoni):

So, the past participle means that it was done in the past. 'Feel' is in the present tense, but what would the word be if you were feeling something in the past?

OpenStudy (hperez777):

felt

OpenStudy (hperez777):

@Adoni

OpenStudy (adoni):

That's correct. (:

OpenStudy (hperez777):

So i would just make a sentence using felt for it to be a past participle ?

OpenStudy (adoni):

Yeah. Make sure your sentence is completely in the past tense though. I can read it over to check it if you'd like.

OpenStudy (hperez777):

Sure thank you

OpenStudy (hperez777):

"Yesterday morning on my way to school I felt like I was sick."

OpenStudy (hperez777):

Or does it have to have an -ing ending.

OpenStudy (adoni):

You could add '-ing' in some cases. For example: "I was feeling sick yesterday while I was on my way to school." 'felt' also works though. "I felt sick while I was on my way to school yesterday."

OpenStudy (hperez777):

Thank you for the help really appreciate it

OpenStudy (adoni):

You're welcome. (:

OpenStudy (adoni):

Also note though that I believe they are looking for 'felt' in this case, as 'feeling' could also be a present tense.
