I think it is supposed to be the box next to the one with your points
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
its a reflection across x-axis
OpenStudy (yourboydusty):
yes but it also says 180 degrees
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
thats another part
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
its two parts

OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
no worries mate
OpenStudy (yourboydusty):
your points are correct
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
ok thanks... do you know how to rotate the original shape 180 degrees about its origin?
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):

How do you do been a while huh
OpenStudy (3mar):
For part a, 180 rotation cw or ccw?
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
it says 180 about the origin
OpenStudy (3mar):
"yes it will be on the third square "
no it will not
OpenStudy (3mar):
As we rotate it 180, it does not matter to cw or ccw.
I just need you to pay attention, no more.

OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
it doesnt say cw or ccw... so guess it doesnt matter
OpenStudy (3mar):
Ok
OpenStudy (3mar):
The rule of the reflection of 180 ( cw or ccw) is
\[(x,y)→(−x,−y)\]
OpenStudy (3mar):
Do this for the three points, and tell me
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
ok working on it now

Nice!
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
p(-1,1) q(-3,2) r(-3,4)... these are the final coordinates
OpenStudy (3mar):
p correct
q correct
r correct
then can you draw the rotated triangle?
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
yes i can
OpenStudy (3mar):
I have something for you!

OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
cool what is it?
OpenStudy (3mar):
Reflection across x-axis: (x, y) > (x, -y)
Reflection across y-axis: (x,y) > (-x, y)
Reflection over origin: (x,y) > (-x,-y)
Reflection over line y = x: (x,y) > (y,x)
Reflection over line y=-x: (x,y) > (-y,-x)
This would help you...
OpenStudy (devonhoward15):
Thanks for the help... finally done with that paper
OpenStudy (3mar):
Thanks for Allah
