As the moon moves to create a right angle along with the sun and earth, what occurs with the ocean's tides?
Is this a multiple choice question, or no?
Unfortunately it is not. @NevillesNetwork
Ok, give me one second!
This is what the moon would look like in its position.
Right, so as it moves in this position, how does it affect the tides?
To my understanding and research, during the 1st quarter phase the tides are called Neap Tides.
So, in response to this question, I would write:
When the moon is in a 90% right angle, neap tides take place. Neap tides occur twice a month when the Sun and Moon are at right angles to the Earth. During a neap tide, the difference between high and low tide is the least. When neap tide is occurring, the tides total gravitational pull on the Earth's water is weakened because it comes from two different directions.
And you can use my exact words if you'd like.
Just make sure, fan and medal XD I used my unlimited time to help you which I was fine at doing. I would just like to get something in return if you don't mind.
