OpenStudy (openthat):
@jango_IN_DTOWN
OpenStudy (openthat):
@MrNood @mathmale @MattDuhHelper
OpenStudy (openthat):
anyone ?
OpenStudy (mrnood):
OK - you are not going to get answers to all those questions
shall we look at number 1 and YOU can do the answer?

OpenStudy (mrnood):
In the expression in number 1 start by rewriting it so that all the 'like terms' are together
i.e. all the terms with n^2 then all the terms with n
just re-order the terms until it is in that form, and write the answer here
OpenStudy (openthat):
okay
OpenStudy (mrnood):
typo above - it should be
all the terms with m^2 then all the terms with n
OpenStudy (openthat):
7m^2+6.5n-4n+2.5m^2-n
OpenStudy (openthat):
like that ?

OpenStudy (openthat):
is it a ?
OpenStudy (mrnood):
that is the original
now move the terms around so that all the terms with m^2 are next to each other
(you can do addition and subtraction in any order - so moving the terms does not change the equation...)
OpenStudy (mrnood):
I will not confirm any guesses.
If oyu do not want to do the work to answer these then tell me now...
OpenStudy (openthat):
7m^2+2.5m^2-n+6.5n-4n ?
OpenStudy (jango_in_dtown):
1. You group the similar terms. Similar terms in the sense, terms whose powers are same.

OpenStudy (mrnood):
ok - that is correct
and we can group them like this:
(7m^2+2.5m^2)+(-n+6.5n-4n)
so can you simplify the sums in each bracket?
OpenStudy (openthat):
9.5m^2 ??
OpenStudy (openthat):
9.5n ??
OpenStudy (mrnood):
the first answer is correct for tghe first bracket, but the second is wrong
OpenStudy (openthat):
okay is it negative ?

OpenStudy (mrnood):
no
(6.5n - 4n - 1n)
OpenStudy (mrnood):
OK for someone with 30 questions to tackle you are toooo slow to answer.
This is not the correct place to be if you want 30 answers - it is against the rules to give complete answers here
In fact since this is a preparation for a test there is no right place to be except studying and revising so oyu can answer for yourself
