OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

I believe it is the last one but not sure

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@jango_IN_DTOWN @agent0smith

OpenStudy (welshfella):

looks like its the third one to me.

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

you're right. I rethought about it too and I would have to agree. What about this one??

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

I thought C

OpenStudy (mathmate):

To solve this type of problems, your first step is to understand ALL keywords. The answer will pop up in front of your eyes. For example, "inelastic behaviour" is defined here: http://www.investopedia.com/terms/e/inelastic.asp and the same for elastic behaviour: http://www.investopedia.com/terms/e/elastic.asp

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

I understand but can I just have confirmation>???? @mathmate I need confidence to see if I'm correct

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@Kevin

OpenStudy (mathmate):

If you need confirmation then I expect you to post YOUR own answer and then ask for opinion! Explain also why you made your choice so others can help you where you need it.

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

I posted my own answer I think it is luxury item, and an increase

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

I know it is

OpenStudy (mathmate):

The answer is correct. A sample explanation is: In a perfectly inelastic demand, the demand does not change at all with price changes (increase or decrease). So a higher price with the same demand will bring in additional revenue, and hence profit. It would improve your confidence if you would try to formulate explanations similar to above.

OpenStudy (kevin):

@iwanttogotostanford For the second question, you thought it's C?

OpenStudy (kevin):

In elastic demand, the percentage change in quantity demanded is greater than the percentage change in the price, so increasing the price will lead to a decrease in total revenue

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

I am stuck between B and D

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@Kevin @3mar

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

someone pleases

OpenStudy (3mar):

Which question?

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

B and D I'm stuck between

OpenStudy (3mar):

ok

OpenStudy (3mar):

It is B. Thanks for your confidence! I really appreciate that!

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

wow thank you!! I thought so. What about this one?

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

i believe it is B...

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@agent0smith @3mar

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@triciaal please help, is it B like i think??

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

is it B???

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@tkhunny

OpenStudy (triciaal):

sorry, i don't know would have to consider the process question is what is the next step after the lymosome is made?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

@iwanttogotostanford Even if there are not many active members in the biology section, please follow the following protocol: 1. Post biology question in the biology section 2. If you need further help, either because there is no response, or help is not sufficient, post in other sections the \(link\) to the original question. 3. This way, all responses will be centralized, and give chance biology helpers to see the question, and more importantly, peer review the responses. Also, please ask one question per post, that means start a new question with a new post. This way more helpers can help you.
