Supplementary angles are two angles that equal 180 degrees.... We know that the measure of one angle is `x`.....(this is because we don't know the degree`.....We also know that the second angle is `8 degrees less than 3 times its supplement` so it is ` 8 degrees less than 3 times x`.....So 3 by x minus 8....so lets put this together.... \(\huge\bf{(3x-8)+x=180}\) When you find x you would input it into `(3x-8)` and find your answer...
Is it 47?
Correct :) You would plug in `47` into the equation we made which is `(3x+8)` and you would find your answer :)
It's not 47?
@563blackghost
What am I suppose to do next?
47 is x...you found what x equals. But you need to find what the angle equals....so we would plug it in to `(3x+8)`
It's 133.?
Yes correct :)
