if you could do the same like you did for the other that'd be fantastic! That helps me the most.
So were given the first term in the sequence, and we need to use that to find the next ones. We're shown how to work out subsequent terms. to find the second term, we use the formula given in the question: \[ a_2 = 2 \times a_{2-1} \]\[ a_2 = 2 \times a_{1} \] We know what a1 is, so just substitue it in :D You should be able to repeat the process for the other terms: \[a_3 = 2 \times a_{3-1}\] \[a_3 = 2 \times a_2 \] You would've worked out a2, so put that value in to find a. Use the value of a3 to work out a4 and so on.
