Mathematics 8 Online
OpenStudy (red3134):

Given: F = {(0, 1), (2, 4), (4, 6), (6, 8)} and G = {(2, 5), (4, 7), (5, 8), (6, 9), (7, 5)} (F - G) (6) = ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

just like last one. this time subtract.

OpenStudy (red3134):

I don't understand how to get F and G as single numbers to multiply by 6?

OpenStudy (watchmath):

From the set \(F\) and \(G\) we can see that \(F(6)=8\) and \(G(6)=9\). By definition \( (F-G)(6)=F(6)-G(6)\).
