OpenStudy (sloppycanada):

If possible, can someone explain to me how I find the displacement from a velocity vs time graph? http://prntscr.com/cv7n9l

pooja195 (pooja195):

The displacement is the distance you moved from the origin at the end of the trip.~Words by @sweetburger Physics isn't my thing but I hope that helps.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Note that displacement = velocity times time, in the simplest case. If your velocity function changes with time, then you calculate the distance traveled by finding the area under the velocity line or curve from one time to another. Please share one of the actual problems that you're working on, along with whatever you've been able to accomplish. It's easier to discuss a specific situation than a very general one.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Displacement = the area under a velocity-time curve. Area above the x-axis is positive, area below the x-axis is negative.
