Can you get the correct answer to this tricky problem? If so, please explain the answer. (Note that this is just for fun and out of curiosity.)
\(\bf\large\color{black}{If~Teresa's~daughter~is~my~daughter's~mother,}\) \(\bf\large\color{black}{~~~~~then~what~is~my~relationship~to~Teresa?}\) \(\bf\color{black}{(A)~Her~grandmother.}\) \(\bf\color{black}{(B)~Her~mother.}\) \(\bf\color{black}{(C)~Her~daughter.}\) \(\bf\color{black}{(D)~Her~granddaughter.}\) \(\bf\color{black}{(E)~I~am~Teresa.}\)
Oh, and no cheating!
E :)
That's what I originally got as well, but it's incorrect.
A??
ahh idk
I have to seriously read this over and over!! hahahaha
Her Mother.
If you think about it after like what, 20 mins... Teresa's daughter is my daughter's mother and my daughter is Teresa, so then I'm Teresa.
That's a good guess, but I'm going to let a few more people add their input before revealing the answer.
So firstly, "I" am a woman. So my daughter's mother must be "me"... :P
Or it can be my wife maybe
C. Replace "Teresa's daughter" with you being her daughter and it works out.
The daughter of your mother is the daughter of Teresa, so teresa is the mother
@skullpatrol is correct. Can you explain how you got the answer in more detail please?
Let's call Teresa's daughter Christine If Teresa′s daughter (Christine) is my daughter′s mother (so you're Christine), then what is my relationship to Teresa?
|dw:1477792463972:dw| Who can \(I\) be?
