alones (alones):

What is the truth value for the following conditional statement? p: true q: true ∼p → q F T → T T T → F F T → F T F → T

OpenStudy (marziman):

Well...A I believe is ONLY true if P is true and Q is false.

OpenStudy (marziman):

So A is incorrect.

OpenStudy (marziman):

Oh wait...I am so backwards today -face palm- I'm all backwards. You ARE correct.

alones (alones):

waitt what? :o

OpenStudy (marziman):

Sorry I was thinking of P -> Q being false.

alones (alones):

waitt the thing i know is that C was wrong ;-;

OpenStudy (marziman):

P -> Q is only false if P is true and Q is false.

OpenStudy (marziman):

So A is correct. Sorry got myself all backwards!

alones (alones):

O.M.G LOLOL..NOW IT MAKES ME CONFUSING

OpenStudy (marziman):

Okay forget what I said about you being wrong LOL. I was saying A is correct, and I gave you an instance where p -> q could be false, but where it could be false DOES NOT apply here since both P and Q are true. Got it?

alones (alones):

Oh finally i did. Thank you bro.

OpenStudy (marziman):

No problem.
