http://teachers.henrico.k12.va.us/math/hcpsalgebra2/documents/2-5/2_5hw.pdf How would i set this graph up? Do I go up by 5's,10's??

Directrix (directrix):

Here is one way to set up the numbers on the axes.

Directrix (directrix):

Equation of this line might be what?

Directrix (directrix):

@todayis

OpenStudy (todayis):

Im confused on the equation part, i know we do y2-y1/x2-x1, but which points?? i see 2 dots that hit the line

Directrix (directrix):

Do you know the coordinates of the two points on the line? I used an online scatterplot maker and it cranked out the linear regression equation to be this: y = .17x + 35.9 I don't know how advanced you are in your studies.

Directrix (directrix):

If you need to crank the equation of the line by using two points, you could use these: (245, 77) and (210,72) Or, choose two points you prefer from the list of points.

OpenStudy (todayis):

thank you so much !

Directrix (directrix):

You're welcome.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

I would do the other way I always put the independent variable on the x axis and the varying variable on the y-axis here it means the graph would show how the weight varies for a particular set of heights
