@dehydrated I drew what I think is the correct marked diagram to help with this problem about which there is contraditiction. The triangles do not appear to me to be congruent by SAS but that is not the question. The question is about the angles DBC and ADB which have been shown to be congruent. Indeed, that pair of congruent angles are alternate interior angles and that is what causes the second pair of sides to be parallel (converse of alternate interior angles theorem). Therefore, the quadrilateral is a parallelogram.
