The same thing, Directrix! I noticed that, but it is BC by logic!

@LunaCat Attached is a drawing made using the hint from @3mar . The segment joining the midpoints of the two non-parallel sides of a trapezoid is called the median. The median has length half that of the sum of the measures of the two bases (parallel sides) of the trapezoid. Use that information to crank out the length of median EF.

A trapezoid has two parallel sides. The question (nor the diagram) has not indicated which pair of sides are parallel. Sigh! Eager to solve the problem, we are making an \(assumption\) that AB is parallel to DC simply because there will be no solution if AD were parallel to BC.
