OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

satellite73 (satellite73):

dotted line or not? and how do you know? `

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

I don't remember. I had it in my notes but I left them at home. (Im out of town rn)

satellite73 (satellite73):

\(>\) is dotted, \(\geq\) is not

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Ooh. So that means it's one of the last two.

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

I think it's the 1st dotted one.

satellite73 (satellite73):

right now lets pick a point in a shaded region of number 4, say \((2,0)\) and check if \(0>1-3\times 2\) is true or not

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Nope

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Cus then t would be saying... 0 > 5

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

Correct.

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

it*

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

C. x)

satellite73 (satellite73):

hmm hold the phone

satellite73 (satellite73):

\[1-3\times 2=1-6=-5\]

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Oooooh. I did it wrooong!!! I did 6 - 1 instead of 1 - 6. Oka

satellite73 (satellite73):

so i would go the the last one

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

So that means it IS the last option.

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Thank you!! ♥

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

Oh I see, we were subtracting a large number from, so it was negative (I was always simply able to look at these and know the answer, my bad!)

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

No problem. x)
