jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

are you able to graph either x-5 or x^2-5 ?

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

I don't believe so. But I do think the answer ish B.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

are you allowed to use graphing technology? like a computer or calculator?

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Ya

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

ok use desmos to graph the two equations https://www.desmos.com/calculator

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

then apply the proper restrictions

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

hopefully that makes sense?

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Ya. Thx. ♥

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

no problem

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

I put in the functions but it says it doesn't understand when I click on the warning sign...

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

leave off the inequality part if you do want to put the inequality part in, you have to use curly braces

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Oh, ok

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

be careful about the endpoints (notice how there are open and closed endpoints)

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Right.. So.. B.?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

B is the top right corner choice? If so, then yes

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Yay. Thank you!!! ♥♥
