Monica is training to run a marathon. his goal for this week is to run a minimum of 25 miles. so far this week, he has already run 15 miles. write and solve an inequality that could be used to determine the mean number of miles he would need to run each day to achieve his goal

I am trying to think about the problem. Monica has already run 15 miles. I don't know if the question is asking about the other 10 miles to meet the weekly goal or something else. The "average" part of the question is throwing me off.
Would you check the original probem in your text and see if there is anything that was left out when you posted the question?
no
that why it got me confused
Here is what I am thinking but I do not know if it is correct. Let m be the mean number of miles per day he has to run to meet his goal of 25 miles minimum. 15 + 7*m ≥ 25 @jessica248 Solve for m. (What I am not sure of is how many days Monica has already run to get up to 15 miles so far.)
