Directrix (directrix):
The first equation tells you what y equals.
In the second equation, substitute (2x - 6) for the y variable in the second equation.
6x - 2y = 22
6x - 2 * (2x - 6) = 22
Simplify that and solve for x.
Directrix (directrix):
After you crank out the value of x, then substitute it in the first equation and solve for y.
First Equation: y= 2x - 6
