f(x) = -1/3x g(x) = -1/3x - 3 "Are the x terms or the constant terms equal in these equations?" I find this question confusing.

well the constant in f(x) is 0 the constant in g(x) is -3 so what can you determine from that?
OK, so in this case constant means the y intercept value?
yes you are correct
and the "x terms?" Is that the slope? Am I wrong to feel this question is unclear?
I assume \(f(x)=\frac{1}[3}x\) \(g(x)=\frac{1}[3}x-3\) The question is relevant if it is in the context of learning about the terms of a polynomial, or the equation of a straight line, etc. It could be confusing elsewhere. The coefficient -1/3 is the slope, and the -3 of g(x) is the y-intercept, so is 0 for f(x).
