@3mar
OpenStudy (3mar):
Well, I am here.
OpenStudy (3mar):
what is the center of dilation and scale factor?
OpenStudy (poto):
I'm sorry it does let me get that

That makes sense now!
OpenStudy (poto):
Yes it does, sorry about that 3mar
OpenStudy (3mar):
No problem at all!
OpenStudy (3mar):
If you choose the point (2,-2) as a dilation center, you need to dilate every length of the three sides at a 5/3 times

okay so (2,-2) would be my center
OpenStudy (3mar):
Got what I am trying to say?
OpenStudy (poto):
yes so far
OpenStudy (3mar):
Yes, that is the point that you will fix and dilate all lengths from it!
i.e it would not move!

For the vertical line for example:
after dilation it would be \[3*\frac{ 5 }{ 3 }=5\]
so it will be 5 unit length not 6
OpenStudy (3mar):
Correct!
You are awesome!
OpenStudy (poto):
Thank you 3mar, have a good day.
OpenStudy (3mar):
You are welcome!
