OpenStudy (sooobored):
you can use the 2 points given in order to determine slope
the line crosses the origin, so y-intercept is 0
OpenStudy (sooobored):
the equation of a line in slope-intercept form is
y=mx+b
where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept
OpenStudy (nightwing255):
@sooobored I actually worked out the problem myself I just wanted to see if the answers would be similar.
OpenStudy (518nad):
okay show me ur work / answer ill check for u

@518nad My answer is 3/1
OpenStudy (sooobored):
slope is correct, now put it in the form of an equation
OpenStudy (nightwing255):
@sooobored So it would be y=3/1+3
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
Not quite....the slope is still correct however as stated above, the line crosses through the origin so your y-intercept should be 0
Hence, \(\large y = \frac{3}{1}x + ?\)
OpenStudy (nightwing255):
@johnweldon1993 So it should be y=3/1x?
