help?

OpenStudy (book):

OpenStudy (maddielb):

What were you thinking?

OpenStudy (book):

i was thinking 12

OpenStudy (otherworldly):

that would be incorrect because it says the radius of the circle is 6 so the diameter is 12. Is RC as big as the diameter?

OpenStudy (book):

hmm idk

OpenStudy (otherworldly):

if u imagine flattening out RC do u thing it would reach the end of the circle

OpenStudy (book):

im thinking b actually

OpenStudy (book):

am i correct?

OpenStudy (otherworldly):

thats what i was thinking as well

OpenStudy (book):

can u help me with another one?

OpenStudy (otherworldly):

sure

OpenStudy (book):

OpenStudy (otherworldly):

plug in the coordinates in place of the x and y and if you get the total correctly you have the correct answer

OpenStudy (danjs):

Each of those answers are in the circle form... center (h,k) and radius r \[\large (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2\]
