Slope-Intercept. The slope of the line whose equation is 5x + 3y = -2 is: -5/3 -3/5 -2/3 I just want to know how I'm supposed to solve this.

OpenStudy (maddielb):

Well you need to make it into y=mx+b form, and to do that you need to -5x on both sides so you have 3y=-5x-2, then you divide by 3 on both sides and end up with y=-5/3x-2/3. And the slope is that equation is -5/3x

OpenStudy (sagewilson):

Okay, thank you.
