Solve the following system of equations

OpenStudy (whereisthefloor):

Solve the following system of equations: 3x − 2y = 6 6x − 4y = 12 (0, 0) (6, 12) Infinitely many solutions No solutions

OpenStudy (andrewishere):

I would start by putting one of the equations in terms of "x" and the other in terms of "y"

OpenStudy (andrewishere):

Can you do that?

OpenStudy (whereisthefloor):

I think its C

OpenStudy (andrewishere):

let me do it real quick

OpenStudy (andrewishere):

Yea you are correct. Im sure you know this but this why: If you put both lines in terms of "y", you get the same equation: \[y=(3/2)x-3\]

OpenStudy (andrewishere):

So good for you
