OpenStudy (milo123):

@563blackghost cn you please help me?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

@milo123 Hint: use Pythagoras theorem, where \(a^2+b^2=c^2\) for a right-angled triangle, and a, b are the lengths of the legs of the triangle, and c is the length of the hypotenuse. In the particular problem, referring to the diagram, QR and QP are the legs of the right triangle PQR, and PR is the hypotenuse (longest side of a right triangle).

OpenStudy (triciaal):

follow the directions by @mathmate where did you get stuck?

OpenStudy (milo123):

here is what i got for part A: The approximate length of rod of PR is 16.12^2. I used the Pythagorean Theorem, 14^2 + 8^2 = c. C = 260 or 16.12
