https://s3.amazonaws.com/grapher/exports/lca234l4xt.png I just need • Phase Shift – horizontal shift of the graph from the basic sine graph. Find the value to the nearest month.
Hint: Whenever we work with a new topic in math, we need to understand the definition of terms. The initial problems are usually tests for understanding of terms. The following link helps you familiarize with the terminologies used in a sinusoidal curve. http://www.regentsprep.org/regents/math/algtrig/att7/graphvocab.htm
i know what it is, i just dont know how to get it...

So please explain what you need to know or not clear about.
well, honestly. I just need the number. I know what it is, and what it means. I just need to figure out what the number is. "How to get it."
The number is marked in the x-axis. "how to get it" : read the x-axis (time axis) of where the two vertical arrows are pointing.
Readings referring to period, horizontal shift refer to the horizontal (x-, or time-)axis. Readings referring to the baseline (or centreline), amplitude or vertical shift use the vertical (y-) axis.
;-; i dont know what it is though... :(
Your graph does not indicate the unit of the x-axis (information truncated). I presume the numbers refer to months.
yes. :)
Read and post the numbers and we can discuss. If you don't show anything, I cannot say if you're reading the right numbers.
|dw:1478702588425:dw| that is a sin function. im am unsure as to what you are asking for.
|dw:1478702640989:dw| Read the values on the horizontal axis indicated by the two vertical arrows in order to find the horizontal shift. "this distance" means the horizontal distance.
