How do I solve this? What formulas do I use?
okok let me try to help :)
@ethanbradberry Ok it is your turn!
:)
Let him try. That is how he will be like you and me ... helping others as we did and are doing
okay
@ethanbradberry go ahead we are wainting for you explanation!
wait wait wait i am no computer XD if you can help faster please do i will be working with you!
But I've already graphed this. I just need help solving...
No I will help you if you want! but you start!
im stuck and i have to go for now im sorry :( i am not really that smart i just wanted to help
Anyways. After graphing the vertices using Desmos.com You will be using A = 0.5 * b * h B stands for base and h stands for height. Did u find the base and the height using distance formula!?
@narissa It's great if you have graphed the three points. Drawing a diagram (or graphing) a geometry problem is half the work done. It would be helpful if you can post your graph so people can help you continue your thoughts.
@Will.H Do I use distance formula on the points on the pink line that I just made right?
Yes the points in pink are the base
Is the green height?
@3mar
Yes, I am here.
Is the green line height? or is it the blue
The height of the triangle is the normal distance from the vertex of the opposite side.|dw:1478818758197:dw|
