Actually, the relationships between terms in the past weren't on word order. They were more inflected, thus A is the correct answer. Take this for example for choice B: "The \(frog\) ate the \(fly\)." "The \(fly\) ate the \(frog\)." ^ That's modern English. However, Latin even depended on singular/plural causes.
