How did the Germanic tribes contribute to the decline of the Western Roman Empire? Write your answer in a paragraph of 125 words.

alones (alones):

Since Germanic homelands were over populated, tribes started to look for more land, which included more resources and more agriculture plans. Following that the Roman Empire was close to their area, and had those useful feature on their land, those tribes became to move to that side. Wich ended up bad for Rome itself, had spent way too much on the stuff. They went short on money and people to fight its hostile enemies on its borders. In the main Rome stretched itself too much in a thin way, which made ethnic groups cross the borders and settle their. Which was the worst time for Rome. The Germanic tribes contribute to the decline of the Western Roman Empire was simple, since Rome had the things Germanic tribes seemed for. "Displaced by the Huns, the Visigoths, who were originally Roman allies, moved into Roman territory. They soon revolted and sacked Rome, destroying the empire."

alones (alones):

Since Germanic homelands were over populated, tribes started looking for more land, which included more resources and more agriculture plans. Following that, the Roman Empire was close to their area, and had useful ammenities on their land. This attracted more tribes to migrate to that side. This ended up bad for Rome itself, because they had invested too much on the land itself. They fell into a deficit which lead to people fighting and ultimately brought hostile enemies to their borders. Rome had begun to stretch itself too thin, which caused ethnic groups to cross the borders and settle elsewhere. This lead to a devastation throughout Rome. The Germanic tribes contributed to the decline of the Western Roman Empire. This was because Rome had resources that Germanic tribes were looking for. "Displaced by the Huns, the Visigoths, who were originally Roman allies, moved into Roman territory. They soon revolted and sacked Rome, destroying the empire."

OpenStudy (brittanyrolfe):

I went through a edited phrases and words that didn't make any sense. This should flow much better

alones (alones):

Oh what about this part ""Displaced by the Huns, the Visigoths, who were originally Roman allies, moved into Roman territory. They soon revolted and sacked Rome, destroying the empire."" I need to include "~Quixlet"?

OpenStudy (brittanyrolfe):

yes I would reference proper citation rules through this website: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/13/

I would like to add on with some grammar incentives, if you don't mind ^_^ For the first paragraph, I would add a hyphen for "over-populated". As for the second paragraph, I would rephrase the "was close to their area" part. On the third paragraph, I would take away the 'a' in "This lead to a devastation throughout Rome", along with changing "lead" to "led". Other than that, it's an excellent rephrasing @brittanyrolfe :3 It's pretty late in the hour when you helped on this too x_x

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Oh, and there are 155 words. Is the 125 info provided the limit or bare minimum? @AloneS

OpenStudy (brittanyrolfe):

Thank you @EclipsedStar :)

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Anytime :)
