OpenStudy (anmaha):

In Spanish, what's the difference between "vamos" and "vamanos"?

OpenStudy (joseee):

Wow, you are good at spanish too? You are the true renaissance man @sooobored

OpenStudy (anmaha):

Wouldn't "vamos" be "we go" though? I've heard both used for "let's go" but I never really understood the exact difference

OpenStudy (anmaha):

By the way I've gone up to Spanish 3 Honors in high school so I'm alright with basics

OpenStudy (joseee):

I'm in AP Spanish language and I didn't know this

OpenStudy (anmaha):

I just now realized I posted this question under Mathematics, sorry about that I'm new to this website oops

OpenStudy (seratul):

Vamanos is more of a command.

OpenStudy (anmaha):

So if I want to say "we are going to the pool now" that would be "vamos a la piscina ahora" and "let's go to the pool" as a command would be "vamanos a la piscina"?

OpenStudy (seratul):

Seems good to me.

OpenStudy (sooobored):

ok, i take back everything i said, after consulting the conjugation chart SORRYYYY

OpenStudy (sooobored):

the difference is actually saying We go vs. the command Let us all go

OpenStudy (anmaha):

@sooobored You did confuse me at first with the conjugation but it's okay! I think I'll give the Best Response to @Seratul though for being the first to clarify. Once again, sorry for accidentally posting this question in the wrong category. Thank you!
