How did the religion of the ancient Israelites differ from the religion of ancient Mesopotamians? The ancient Israelites believed in polytheism. The ancient Israelites believed in only one god. The ancient Israelites gave their god political and religious power. The ancient Israelites built fancy buildings for their gods in the afterlife.

Do you know anything about Israelists or Mesopotamians separately?
I can help with a part of the answer: The Israelites (I think I got the right spelling this time) are known to believe in monotheism, meaning "belief of one God". To them, God is the heavenly creator and (in the bible) is known to strike down and kill disobedient children because of their sins, for example showing pride and not worshiping Him.
so D?
No. Their lifestyle reflected the Ten Commandments (Found in the book of Exodus) and they feared God because he is 'Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent' (all-powerful, all-knowing, and present at all times and places)
The key word: Monotheism What I mean by 'they feared God' is that they had a respect for God. He could smite them off the earth at his own will if you did not follow his rules.
Sorry about the change in pronouns/point of views, but did I make sense?
