Yes, that is logic, as I did not say "Congruent"
what results in the similarity?
OpenStudy (dehydrated):
@3mar ew um I don't know after that
OpenStudy (3mar):
"The corresponding sides are proportional"
Are you familiar with that?
OpenStudy (dehydrated):
@3mar somewhat
OpenStudy (3mar):
Great!
Can you apply it to two pairs - with known lengths - of the these two similar shapes?

so I know that em' is 21 inches shorter than em and by that then the sides of the prime would be 35 since 56-21 is 35 but then I realized tat wouldn't be possible because the top on the adult pinball machine is 20.
OpenStudy (dehydrated):
@3mar
OpenStudy (3mar):
"em' "???
OpenStudy (dehydrated):
@3mar E'M' AND EM

Easy sister!
GA = 20
EM = 35
E'M' = 14
ok?
OpenStudy (3mar):
\[\Large \frac{ GA }{ G'A' }=\frac{ EM }{ E'M' }\]now plug in their values!
OpenStudy (dehydrated):
I understand that part I just don't get how to find G'A'
OpenStudy (3mar):
2 min and I will be back
OpenStudy (dehydrated):
ok so EM/E'M' = 2.5
