OpenStudy (slickster256):

thank you XD

OpenStudy (slickster256):

the first part is i need you to explain the relationship between the position of the Earth and the seasons, two examples from your knoledge

OpenStudy (slickster256):

if you want you can write to statemnets instead of examples

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

The sits on a tilt. The poles don't match up exactly. So as we go around the sun each year, different parts of the earth are pointed at the sun. That makes winter in the north when it's summer in the south. When I lived in New Zealand people would go to the beach for Christmas day. Many people did have Christmas trees, but nobody put fake snow or icicles on them. We also don't live on an exact sphere. It bulges in places, sorta like a pear. I'm not sure what that does to seasons.

OpenStudy (slickster256):

ok part two if you live in the southern hemisphere, describe the position of the earth in comparison to the sun and what tempeture would you experience there

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

I live in California now. When I did live down under the sun came up just the same as in the US of A. It moved further south in the sky during months with an R just like here. But that means it was closer to us in NZ and further from the States. That's why January was the break from school month and not July.

OpenStudy (slickster256):

im sorry i had to go pick up my little sister,
