OpenStudy (julyahx1):

The strength and hardness of bones is due to the large number of cells packed together in the bones many bony calluses within each bone hard membrane covering the bones organic materials in the matrix of the bones

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

Osteoporosis results in weak bones due, in part, to bone reabsorption. A drug would be beneficial for the treatment of osteoporosis if it could activate osteoblasts to induce formation of the bone matrix activate osteoclasts to induce breakdown of the bone matrix suppress osteoblasts to induce formation of the bone matrix suppress osteoclasts to induce breakdown of the bone matrix

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

A break in which of the following would cause a section of bone to die? Haversian canal, because it provides nutrients for the bone Haversian canal, because these canals physically support bone cells Osteoid, because it removes osteoclasts from the bone Osteoid, because it removes wastes from the bone

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

You examine a large long bone and notice a canal-like marking that runs parallel with the bone. At the end of the bone and the canal-like marking, there are two large areas with rough surfaces. These markings are most likely a ______________ and two ________________. suture; crests fissure; condyles foramen; tuberosities sulcus; tuberosities

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

please someone help

OpenStudy (mathmale):

It's very unlilkely that anyone here would instantly know the answers to these questions. Even if someone did, and gave you the answers, it wouldn't help you much in the long run. My suggestion is that you'll need to do some creative research. You could, for example, Google "strength and hardness of bones." Bet you'd get a whole bunch of relevant and helpful search results. Also Google terms such as the following: suture; crests fissure; condyles foramen; tuberosities sulcus; tuberosities Over the long run, you do need to understand and remember the meaning of these terms.

OpenStudy (eliesaab):

Also, please restrict your questions here to Math

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

theres more people here so actually i NEED to post it here because IT BENEFITS ME.

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Edit: @JULYAHX1 Post it in the bio section. There are bio helpers who don't come here. If no answer, post a LINK here, so that all answers go to the same place. This suggestion is for YOUR benefit because in the bio section, you will benefit from peer review, while here, if you got an answer, it will be just a pin in the haystack. As suggested by @mathmale, YOU will benefit in the long run by reading the relevant material. No one is supposed to give you direct answers anyway. To help you get started, here's a short article on bone matrix. https://www.reference.com/science/bone-matrix-made-53ca433054ae1c51

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

i posted in the bio section and NO ONE HELPs so

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

in my experience, PEOPLE ALWAY help in this section

OpenStudy (mathmate):

So please post the LINK here, instead of reposting. There is at least one bio helper in the bio section. So it's just a matter of time.

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

this stuff doesn't matter to me in the long run. I'm just doing this to graduate because i NEED to do this to. im not going to have a job that this will benefit with lol I'm just being honest here. so I'm not gonna just spend most of my time studying hours or whatever on this when i could be using that time to be studying what will ACTUALLY benefit me in my LIFE.

OpenStudy (urturn):

You have a kik

OpenStudy (mathmate):

In my humble opinion, your reasoning appears short-sighted. You will never know what life brings you.

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

actually, i know what my life will bring me. I CHOOSE my path. I HAVE passion. You can't just MAKE yourself passionate about anatomy when you ARENT. its just not enjoyable. I'm sure you wouldn't understand since you are probably naturally born with the love of things like this. so you don't TRULY understand the passion of people who don't have passion for these stuff. you don't know who i am

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

i might not know EXACTLY what my life will bring me. but i DEFIANTLY won't let my life bring me something i am NOT passionate about so i can be depressed every day of my life doing something i do NOT enjoy

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

keep trying to preach how everyone should learn anatomy though great job (sarcasm)

OpenStudy (urturn):

@JULYAHX1 ADD ME ON KIK

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

uh okk why?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

I am not preaching anyone to learn anatomy, or math, or anything. If it is a course you're taking, your obligation is to learn it. If you take the course and hope to pass it without actually knowing it, you fall into one of the traps by deceiving yourself. Do you know how incompetent people are made? They do not know what they are \(supposed\) to know. No one forces them to decide what they should know. However, if someone takes a course, by obligation or by free will, without actually knowing it, he/she joins the club of the future incompetents. It may sound harsh to you at this stage of the game, but that's life.

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

@mathmate listen here you ignorant bafoon, i wasn't gonna respond again until that last part with the bullsh*t overly statement "thats life". Why do YOU get to decide "whats life"??? WHATS IS LIFE???? You saying "THATS LIFE" IS JUST THE REFLECTION OF WHAT PEOPLEEEEE MADE LIFE INTO. LIFE CAN BE WHATEVER YOU MAKE OF IT. EVERY ERA IS DIFFERENT. GO BACK TO A THOUSAND YEARS AGO WHERE LIFE WAS TOTALLY DIFFERENT BUT "THAT WAS LIFE" BECAUSE OF EVERYBODYS CHOICESSSSS. NOW I THIS ERA LIFE IS THE WAY IT IS NOW BECAUSE OF THIS GENERATIONS CHOICESSSSS. ANYONE CAN CHANGE THE WAY OF "LIFE" BY DOING WHAT THEIR HEART AND DESIRE TELLS THEM. NOT GIVING IN TO BULLSH*T SOCIETY STANDARDS OF HOW "LIFE" IS. AND OR IS SUPPOSED TO BE.
