Show me where you are stuck. You need to find a common denominator first for problem 3.

OpenStudy (emoniplaysstudy):

ok

OpenStudy (emoniplaysstudy):

are one of them 6

OpenStudy (retireed):

6 and 9 are denominators, but you can't add numerators if the denominators aren't the same. if you add 2/5 to 2/5 you get 4/5 you cannot add 2/5 to 4/15 so you need to find a common denominator if you multiply 2/5 by 3/3 you get 6/15 so now you can add 6/15 and 4/15 to get 10/15 then you should simpify

OpenStudy (emoniplaysstudy):

ok

OpenStudy (emoniplaysstudy):

someone help pls

OpenStudy (icrazyaliens):

I am going to show you an easy way to break this kind of problem! (5/6) + (4/9) = your donamintor is not common you need to multiply them together. (9*5+6*4)/(6*9) 1. multiply the donamintor 2.take the result of donamintor and divided on the first term 3.and multiply by the nominator 4. do the same method for the other nominator.
