Write the following equation in the general form Ax + By + C = 0. 2x + y = 6 2x + y - 6 = 0 2x + y + 6 = 0 2x - y - 6 = 0

The left side has to be 0, and the original equaiton has 6 on the right side, so you subtract 6 on both sides, so C would be -6. So it would be 2x + y - 6 = 0

it would be A because when you move the 6 to the other side of the equal sign, you have to change the (=) of 6 to a (-) so it would be 2x=y-6+0 Just as @mhchen said
