Here is all the advice I can give you without physically being there. You're going to want to memorize the position of the notes on the staff. In a treble clef, your lines are going to be EGBDF (Every Good Boy Does Fine), and your spaces are FACE (Face). A bass clef is going to have GBDFA (Great Big Dreams For America) for the lines, and ACEG (All Cows Eat Grass) for the spaces. Those little things helped me memorize the notes super easily! Hopefully it will work for you. Treble and Bass are all you should really need. Sometimes (Depending on the key signature) certain notes will be sharp or flat. |dw:1480601874373:dw| (I've included a diagram below to help you read). If there are sharps or flats in the time signature, those notes that the sharp/flat lies on will be sharp/flat throughout the entire piece. If there are no sharps or flats, it is in the Key of C, and no notes will be sharp or flat unless stated otherwise in the piece. I hope this helped!
