Help me
Here it is
I suggest for you to find the point of intersection of the two lines and just taking the value of x for that point. We know Connie's equation: \(y = 6x + 9\)...but we don't know Chris' equation. However, one piece of info that we do have is that Chris has $27 (aka his starting amount) and he will save $3 per week (meaning \(3x\)). Therefore, in slope-intercept form (\(y = mx + b\)), Chris' equation is \(y = 3x + 27\). Now to find the point of intersection we just can set them equal to each other. (Remember they are systems of equations and we will be using substitution by substituting one value of y into the other equations' value of y). We will have now: \(\color{green}{6x + 9 = 3x + 27}\) Now just solve for x.
