OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

@Will.H @Luigi0210 @Nnesha @Berrymox Help?

OpenStudy (berrymox):

So it started at 6 gallons, and in 10 hours was empty. That means the leak is 6 gallons per 10 hours

OpenStudy (berrymox):

Convert that to ounces per hour

OpenStudy (berrymox):

*leak rate

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

Convert that to ounces per leak rate?

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

or leak rate per hour

OpenStudy (berrymox):

convert the leak rate of 10 gals per 6 hours to ounces per hour

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

Not sure what to do :/

OpenStudy (berrymox):

You know how to convert 1 foot into inches right? 1 foot * (12 inches/ 1 foot) = (1 * 12)/1 (foot cancled out) inches 12 inches

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

Yes ik but not sure how to convert the leak rate of 10 gals per 6 hours to ounces per hour

OpenStudy (berrymox):

just convert gallons to ounches, then find it in terms of 1 hour instead of 6

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

1 gallon = 128 ounces

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

10 gallons=1280 ounces

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

@Berrymox what do i do next??

OpenStudy (berrymox):

1280 ounces / 6 hours, how do you find it in terms of 1 hour?

OpenStudy (berrymox):

If you rode a bike for 1 mile in 2 hours, how many miles did you go in 1 mile? 1/2 = 0.5 miles

OpenStudy (berrymox):

*miles you go in 1 hour

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

0.5 miles @Berrymox

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

What do I do next? .~.

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

@Berrymox

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

@sammixboo Maybe you? *-*
