OpenStudy (little_miss):

Triangle PQR with vertices P(3, −6), Q(6, −9), and R(−15, 3) is dilated by a scale factor of 3 to obtain triangle P′Q′R′. Which statement best describes triangle P′Q′R′? It is similar to triangle PQR and has coordinates P′(1, −2), Q′(2, −3), and R′(−5, 1). It is congruent to triangle PQR and has coordinates P′(1, −2), Q′(2, −3), and R′(−5, 1). It is similar to triangle PQR and has coordinates P′(9, −18), Q′(18, −27), and R′(−45, 9). It is congruent to triangle PQR and has coordinates P′(9, −18), Q′(18, −27), and R′(−45, 9).

OpenStudy (avi13):

C similar and coordinate 3 times

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please graph both triangles. Bet the visual images would help you a lot in answering this question.

OpenStudy (little_miss):

so its C?

OpenStudy (little_miss):

idk how tog raph the triangles im not very good at math :(

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Without your having done any work, or at least without your acting on my suggestion, I'm reluctant to say "yes" or "no" to your "is it C?" Graphing triangles will get easier as you practice graphing triangles. Really.

OpenStudy (little_miss):

Im not understanding what you are saying. I will try and graph the triangle hold on
