I need help with an average cost problem. Please

OpenStudy (tehhota):

The teacher showed us how to do it but I forgot

OpenStudy (tehhota):

Anyone?

OpenStudy (s4sensitiveandshy):

First find the average cost function: \[ACF= \frac{C(x)}{x}\]

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I agree with Sensitive. Form the average cost function by dividing the given Cost function C(x) by x. Hint: Divide each term of the Cost function by x separately and simplify each result. To minimize average cost, differentiate ACF with respect to x, term by term. Then set your derivative equal to zero and solve for x. Please show your work if you'd like to receive feedback on it. Thx.

OpenStudy (tehhota):

You guys suck, no one helped me in time, and I failed my test. Thank you openstudy

OpenStudy (tehhota):

PS The Jesus Bus is back

OpenStudy (mathmale):

@tehhota: Sorry you failed your test. However, two well-meaning helpers gave you what in my judgment was very relevant and straightforward instructions for finding the min. average cost; you did not respond. This site is not set up or intended to do your work for you nor to give you answers. Your blaming the other person and me for your failure demonstrates extreme immaturity and the inability to own up to your own failings.
