The answer they want: The internet has become a vast source of knowledge, due to how easy it allows people to share ideas with each other. As technology advances, so should our education. We can utilize technology in classrooms in order to provide interactive examples, as well as individualize the pace at which information is given to students. There has been a problem where a student does not achieve proper mastery of a concept before they are forced to learn the next one. An example of this is when a student gets a C in a subject, but is allowed to move up to the next grade level without mastering what they had problems with. This is like saying that a kid who was just able to ride a bicycle with training wheels is given a unicycle. The use of technology would help bridge this gap by allowing each and every student to learn at his or her own individual pace. This is only one of many benefits of using technology in the classroom. By not throwing students out of their comfort zone, this can increase the student's interest in learning overall.
sorry for writing so much .-.
my opinion: Teaching students strictly through technology is majorly a teacher-centered instruction which, in most cases, does not benefit the student's understanding of a concept. Studies have shown that there seem to be more benefits in knowledge gained when student-centered instruction is used. However, technology based teaching (such as online schools) does not lend itself to student-centered instruction. Basically, too much use of technology is just as bad as no use of technology in a classroom. also, the futility of even considering asking Trump to consider an education proposal is absurd. he has his head stuck in business and basically, if a student does not have access to technology (due to financial problems) then he would most likely say 'too bad too sad'. This attitude of treating education like a business instead of a public good is futile to change politicians' opinions of. Therefore, although it is interesting to consider what makes a good education - it is all-in-all, futile.
